EverVeil

Adult Speculative Fantasy

EverVeil follows six people pulled into another world in the forms of the characters they created as ideal versions of themselves. The world resembles an online game unknowingly based upon that realm. To return home, they must confront their own strengths, flaws, and truths.

WHAT KIND OF STORY IS EVERVEIL?

EverVeil is an adult speculative fantasy novel focused on identity, self-perception, consequence, and transformation. While the world carries echoes of the online game the characters once explored together, the story is not built around game mechanics, virtual reality systems, or progression-based fantasy conventions. Instead, it explores what happens when people are forced to live within the idealized selves they once created to escape reality. The novel blends immersive secondary-world fantasy with psychological and metaphysical storytelling, balancing large-scale mystery and worldbuilding with deeply personal character journeys.
